Selection Criteria for Summer 2018 Programs

Priorities for KASC African languages:

Students must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents to be eligible to apply.  Applications from qualified students (1) at minority serving institutions, (2) at community colleges, (3) from underrepresented groups, or (4) who demonstrate financial need will be prioritized.

Priorities for CEAS East Asian languages:

Students must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents to be eligible to apply. Applications from qualified students (1) who have expressed concrete plans to go into government service or to become K-12 educators, (2) wishing to study abroad, (3) who demonstrate financial need, or (4) from professional schools will be prioritized.
